CECILIA VIEIRA – Production Team

Cecilia Vieira, born in Madrid in 1994, studied Fine Arts in Aranjuez. Since then, I have been creating pieces that delve into the human condition, its relationship with space, objects, and society. My works possess a poetic and subversive nature, often installed in public spaces, where they frequently remain, serving as a reminder of the impermanence of things and allowing me to explore the present moment more deeply.

To achieve this, I employ various techniques, such as actions, sculptures, photographs, or texts, depending on the idea I aim to develop. My primary inspirations stem from social disparities, alienation, and nature.

I previously lived in Bristol, where I collaborated on a counter-publicity project and hosted an electronic music radio show.

I have recently returned from Mexico, where I carried out an artistic residency in Oaxaca and conducted interviews with women to create an archive aimed at highlighting female artists.
