FRANCESCA HEATHCOTE SAPEY – Teresa Sapey Collection

After studying Architecture and an MA in Critical and Cultural Studies, Francesca obtained a second MSC in Urban Design and Planning at Bartlett (UCL), London. Francesca has spent the last ten years in London, studying, working and being actively involved in numerous initiatives across the sector. She is a member of Young Urbanists (Academy of Urbanism), ArchitectsE17, the UCL Alumni group, the Spanish Association of Urban Technicians (AETU) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). Almost a year ago, Francesca moved to Madrid as a partner of Teresa Sapey + Partners Studio, renowned for designing spaces with emotion and developing projects that give rise to unique experiences. She also collaborates as an international consultant on ad hoc urban planning projects. Guest speaker, guest judge, lecturer and author, her interests include ephemeral architecture and brand identity, markets as socio-economic drivers, as well as temporary uses and early activation of large urban developments, among many other things.
