Paul Destieu is a french media artist, his practice includes the creation of installations, videos and sound works. His research questions the evolution of media and their situations within our contemporary environment, noticeably influenced by the history of technologies, languages, cinema and sound. His creations grasp tentions between the emergence and disappearence of traditional and contemporary techniques exploring the border between emergence and collapsing of system, as many attempts to shift our perceptions of modern history.

His works have been exhibited in international festivals and venues, he is represented in several french public art collections (F.R.A.C. SUD, F.C.A.C. Marseille, Les Nouveaux Collectionneurs).
