Cristina Reid (1993, New York) is a multidisciplinary artist currently based in Barcelona. She has a bachelor’s degree in Art History from Syracuse University (New York, 2016) and a diploma in Studio Arts from Metàfora Studio Arts Program (Barcelona, 2022), where she defended her thesis at MACBA Centro de Estudis and participated in group exhibitions at Mutuo Centro, FOC, and Galería Joan Prats.

She will complete her MFA in Artistic Production and Research at the University of Barcelona and present her thesis at La Capella in June 2025. She is currently a resident at Tangent Projects.

Her video work has been exhibited at 200 Cent (Barcelona, 2023), Sala Equis (Madrid, 2023), and during StripArt Festival (Barcelona, 2024), where she was selected to do a residency at ESFar Cultural’s Casa d’Artistes (Menorca). She most recently had a solo exhibition at Espai Souvenir through the framework of the Art Nou Emerging Art Festival (Barcelona, 2024).
