Taipei, Taiwán
Chang Chun-Tzu is an emerging architect and artist currently living in Hamburg, Germany. Through her work, she explores the relationships between individuals and communities within economic structures, often focusing on experiences within public spaces.
Working with visual imagery, modest performances, and documentary film, Chang attempts to respond to aspects of capitalist systems while inviting viewers to reflect on everyday life. Her projects frequently incorporate ordinary objects and family stories as starting points to consider the subtle dynamics of shared spaces.
With a background spanning architecture, urban planning, and art studies, Chang seeks to connect different disciplines in her creative practice. This approach helps her to consider spatial and social questions from various angles as she develops her artistic voice.
Her short documentary “The Grandmother, the Uncle and the Dog” (2022) was included in the Berlin Indie Film Festival and later shown at the Hong-gah Museum in 2023.
