Lide Billelabeitia Uriarte (Mungia, 2001) graduated in Fine Arts (2023) from the University of the Basque Country. She develops her artistic practice mainly from audiovisual, sculptural and photographic perspectives, directly relating these media to performativity and the action of the body. Her works explore conscious and diverse ways of relating to nature and the materiality of things, with the intention of undoing the usual distinction between the human and the non-human. In 2021 she received the Ikasiker scholarship. Her works have been exhibited in renowned cultural centers such as Tabakalera, Museo Artium and Sala Rekalde.
