In 2023, Thenjiwe Niki Nkosi participated in Thinking Historically in the Present, the 15th Sharjah Biennial. Her solo exhibitions have been presented at Stevenson, Cape Town (2020; 2022); The Africa Center, New York (2019); and Seedspace Gallery, Nashville, Tennessee (2017), as well as the multimedia work Equations for a Body at Rest, broadcast across various public spaces in Birmingham as part of the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
