Metamorphosis is a literal 16mm film adaptation of Franz Kafka’s novel The Metamorphosis.
Written in 1915, this short novel tells the story of its protagonist, Gregor Samsa, who suddenly transforms into an enormous insect, making it intolerably difficult for him to communicate with his family and social circle.
The film translates the text onto a 16mm transparent acetate film.
This work consists of the film as well as the book from which the text was taken.
